MY FEELINGS DURING THE ADMISSION TIME

I am a student of a top Canadian University and am pursuing my Masters degree. In another 6 months time I shall be graduating from my MSc course from Canada. Today I feel much relieved and feel lucky to be studying in such a prestigious campus. however if I go back over 1 year back in time it was a very different period for me.

I had passed out from my Bachelors course and was preparing to apply for my Masters course in Canada or Australia. Since a few family members and cousins were already residing in Canada I preferred to study in Canada over Australia.

I wish to say that both countries offer high quality education and students in both countries are equally competent. In the end it basically boils down to the preferred location of studies for you. The last 2 years have been a roller coaster ride for me. Am happy that all went well for me in the process. I wish to write down about my experiences when I had started the process to plan my studies abroad.

This was the first phase for me. I started to meet a few education consultants and tried to seek their help & guidance to study in Canada. There are so many consultants in Punjab that one does tend to get confused as to what should be done. Most of the consultants / agents were charging hefty upfront only from me to start the basic discussions and the they would offer any help to me. This was a tough phase because they seemed to be dubious and I could no trust them. However I met up with an agency and paid upfront money to them to hep me in the process.

Misguidance from the Agent:

The agent I enrolled with took my documents, passport and my money. post that he said he will suggest some relevant courses. two months passed by and I heard nothing from the agent. After many visits I managed to get the agent to tell me about some courses. At this stage I got to know that the agent was not Qualified to guide students for higher education and was merely a broker of a large firm. I was stuck as time was passing by and my admission process had not even started.

Poor Choice of University Offered Me:

After many visits the gent forced me to apply to one college for a course. he said it was the best option for me considering the shortage of time for admissions. I checked the credentials of the institute and was shocked that it was of poor standard and very weak infrastructure. I was shocked since I was losing time and all my degrees and Passport was with the agent. He was refusing ti return the same to me After a major argument I managed to take all my documents and passport back from the agent. but my money was still stuck with him.

Reference of Blue Mountain International:

One of my friends suggested me to go to Blue Mountain International in Chandigarh and take guidance from them. His cousin had taken assistance from Blue Mountain and his papers were easily processed and he got admission in Top College of Canada.

Meeting Blue Mountain International:

I called Mrs Manpreet who promptly set u a meeting with me the same day. She evaluated all my educational degrees and promptly came up with a suggestion on the future course of action. She clearly explained the process, told me about various options I could explore in my area of interest. She also gave me suggestions on the university campus I should be looking to get admission in. I was very confident after meeting Blue Mountain International that they are highly skilled, very professional in their approach and have strong experience in guiding students for higher education.

The Team at Blue Mountain helped me with all the documents needed for my application submission. They guided me on how to best write the SOP for the Visa Application purpose. I am glad that with the support of Manpreet Ma’am I got the admission in one of the Top Colleges in Canada and that too within a period of 3 weeks from application date. I am thankful to Blue Mountain International fr having guided me in clear and transparent manner. At each step of the process I was fully aware of the status of my application.
